Future Junction LLC. is building the Lab Operations function to keep every lab order moving smoothly—from order receipt to result delivery.

You’ll lead a distributed team, coach managers, and own day-to-day operations, ensuring timely reviews, investigations, and proactive issue resolution. This remote-first role requires 5+ years in healthcare operations or diagnostics, strong people leadership, and a bias for process improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hiring and managing operations teams through growth.
• Led teams solving exception-heavy operational problems.
• Built or improved SOPs, SLAs, quality processes.
• Managed distributed teams across time zones.
• Handled direct vendor relationships in critical ops.
• Healthcare operations or diagnostics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a distributed Lab Operations team.
• Plan team capacity and staffing as orders grow.
• Own day-to-day lab operations: reviews, investigations, issue resolution.
• Ensure SLAs, quality, and productivity targets are met.
• Interface with vendors; troubleshoot and streamline interactions.
• Handle complex operational issues with cross-functional partners.
• Improve SOPs and workflows for scalability.
• Identify recurring issues and drive automation with Systems & Tooling.
