Job summary

Remote Staff, INC. is seeking a Service Engineer for full-time work from home. The role supports MSP clients with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and network services, adapting to a 40-hour work week aligned to PST.

Expect remote collaboration with international clients and a focus on quality service delivery. You will own issues from triage to resolution, document thoroughly, and support SLAs while guiding junior engineers and expanding technical skills through ongoing

Qualifications

4+ years of IT support, systems administration, and technical troubleshooting experience; MSP experience preferred.
Experience handling escalated technical issues and mentoring junior engineers is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide intermediate technical support to client users via phone, email, and remote tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving Microsoft 365, AD, Entra ID, Intune, networking, VPNs, servers, and virtualization.
Take ownership through resolution or escalation with clear communication and documentation.
Participate in technical projects, maintenance, and system improvements.
Act as escalation resource for L1 Engineers, providing guidance and issue resolution support.
Escalate issues when additional expertise or vendor support is required.
Maintain professional client communications, accurate ticket notes, time entries, and documentation.
Support SLA performance and contribute to knowledge base and SOPs.
Demonstrate ongoing technical growth and mentor junior team members.
