Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Junior Cash Application Analyst to support AR processing and daily reconciliation in a remote, night-shift role. You will accurately apply payments via ACH, wire, checks, and card, while researching unapplied cash and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in cash application or AR, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of AR mechanics. The position offers growth within a large offshore services provider with healthcare and performance

Qualifications

1+ years experience in cash application or AR processing.
Strong understanding of AR basics including invoices, debits, credits, unapplied cash.
Proficient in Excel with basic formulas and data handling.
Ability to trace payment discrepancies and resolve ledger mismatches.
Familiar with SOX controls and timely processing requirements.

Responsibilities

Apply customer payments from multiple channels into the ERP system.
Investigate unapplied, short-paid, or misapplied cash entries and contact partners for details.
Perform daily cash balancing and assist with routine account adjustments.
Maintain SOX internal controls and audit-ready documentation.
Respond to queries from Billing, Collections, and Finance within SLAs.
Support month-end close reconciliations and provide backup in AR ops.
