Job summary

Builder Bookkeep, a fully remote, U.S.-focused construction accounting company, seeks a driven Junior Accountant based in the Philippines. You will support a growing team by handling daily bookkeeping and payroll, using QuickBooks Online, and ensuring accuracy across multiple client files.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of U.S. accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Experience handling multiple clients concurrently.
• Strong understanding of job costing for construction.
• High attention to detail and deadlines.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work night shifts (Philippines time).
• Reliable home internet and dedicated workspace.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping including accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Enter and review transactions in QuickBooks Online to ensure U.S. accounting compliance.
• Process weekly payroll entries with proper job costing.
• Assist with 1099 preparation, financial statements, and reporting.
• Maintain organized records in internal systems and client QuickBooks files.
• Communicate with team about discrepancies or client updates.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to process improvements.
