Job summary

Hyremote is seeking an IT Support (PowerShell) professional to proactively identify and resolve security, compliance, Windows, and device-management issues across many endpoints. You will leverage PowerShell, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID to automate tasks and improve reliability.

You’ll monitor centralized alerts, manage Windows compliance, and troubleshoot complex networking problems in a fast-paced IT services setting.

Qualifications

Hands-on PowerShell scripting to automate issues.
Strong Windows desktop troubleshooting capabilities.
Experience with VLANs, DNS, DHCP, subnets, and connectivity.
Familiar with Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, configuration policies, updates, and Entra ID.
IT support experience required.
Independent, resourceful, and self-motivated.
Able to work remotely with a reliable home setup.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Willing to work EST schedule.

Responsibilities

Monitor and resolve centralized alerts for malware, email quarantine, device compliance, and proactive issues.
Manage Windows compliance initiatives, including updates and security standards.
Write, test, and refine PowerShell scripts to automate issues across many devices.
Troubleshoot complex Windows desktop and networking issues (VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
Utilize Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID for device management and policy deployment.
Handle bulk remediation and automation-heavy projects when needed.
Escalate issues when required and document work in the ticketing system.
