Emapta is seeking a Systems Automation Engineer to streamline IT operations through infrastructure automation and workflow orchestration. You will work across cloud infrastructure, platform operations, and integrations, using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, and Microsoft 365 to reduce manual processes and boost reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in systems/workflow automation, systems engineering, infrastructure operations, or a related technical role.
• Proven experience developing automated workflows, system integrations, pipelines, and workflow orchestration across business and IT platforms.
• Advanced PowerShell and/or Python scripting for automating complex operational processes.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and other cloud platforms.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, JSON, and XML, plus automation platforms such as Power Automate, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Own the setup, integration, and ongoing enhancement of PIA.ai across ConnectWise, Kaseya, and other internal systems.
• Configure automation rules around MSP operations, ticketing processes, and SLA requirements.
• Investigate unclear system errors and develop remediation logic for faster resolution.
• Work with technology vendors to resolve platform issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Establish automated alerts, health monitoring, and corrective actions.
• Develop end-to-end workflows aligning automation with business priorities.
