Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits with commercial insurance plans and Medicaid.
• Review payer information and document verification results in clinic systems.
• Initiate and process prior authorization requests with payer requirements.
• Track authorization status and pursue resolution through denial or approval.
• Review documentation for nonprofit financial assistance eligibility.
• Conduct outbound follow-ups for missing enrollment information.
• Assist with patient intake and enrollment workflows and chart prep.
• Support provider credentialing and payer enrollment as needed.
• Prepare and update patient charts in EHR and ensure completeness.
• Manage backlog by prioritizing cases and coordinating with teams.
