Job summary

MED-METRIX INTERNATIONAL PH-I, INC. is seeking a Trainer, Medical Coding to educate new and existing coders. The role focuses on ICD 10 CM, CPT, E/M coding, and Revenue Cycle Management, with ongoing module development and calibration training.

Work-from-home setup with a dayshift schedule. The trainer will update materials, track scores, and ensure adherence to HIPAA and company policies while collaborating with multiple teams to improve education outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of medical or allied medical course or equivalent work experience.
• CPC from AAPC or CCS from AHIMA required.
• Proficient with Revenue Cycle Management, E/M and Procedure Coding.
• Strong communication and teamwork; flexible with shifting schedules.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical coding education for new and existing coders.
• Develop training modules for ICD-10-CM, CPT, E/M coding, and RCM.
• Maintain knowledge of coding guidelines and update training content.
• Consolidate coder scores from quizzes and assessments for weekly reviews.
• Provide onboarding training and refresher sessions for staff.
• Ensure compliance with Med-Metrix policies and HIPAA rules.
• Collaborate with workgroups to resolve issues impacting customers.
