Job summary

Med-Metrix in the Philippines is seeking a Trainer, Medical Coding to educate new and existing medical coders.

You will develop modules (ICD-10-CM, CPT, E/M) and curricula, keep guidelines up to date, and assess learner progress. This role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, teamwork, and the ability to work from home on a dayshift schedule.

Candidates should have CPC or CCS credentials and experience with Revenue Cycle Management; strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPC or CCS certification.
• Experience with Revenue Cycle Management and CPT/HCPCS coding.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop medical coding training modules (ICD-10-CM, CPT, E/M).
• Create curriculum and syllabus for coding and billing training programs.
• Maintain knowledge of ICD-10-CM/ICD-10-PCS, CPT and HCPCS guidelines.
• Update training modules and materials as needed.
• Create assessments for training, quizzes and exams.
• Consolidate coder scores and present data at weekly meetings.
• Provide onboarding training and refresher sessions for coders.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data privacy in training.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues affecting learners and customers.
• Support QA and account launch activities when required.
