Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support our client's global charitable work, focusing on Australia and the United States. You will craft content that communicates mission, impact and human stories, and help campaigns, fundraising and partnerships reach diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or related discipline.
• 3–5 years experience in marketing, communications, content or digital campaign coordination.
• Excellent written English and editing skills for diverse audiences.
• Experience creating content for web, email and social channels; Canva familiarity expected.
• Strong coordination skills, including calendars, briefs, approvals and deadlines.
• Experience with nonprofit, fundraising, international development communications is valued.
• Awareness of ethical storytelling, consent, privacy and respectful representation.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate content for websites, email, social media, newsletters, campaign materials and partner communications.
• Turn program information and interviews into clear, respectful stories that demonstrate impact.
• Support campaign planning and delivery for fundraising, awareness, education and partnerships.
• Maintain an editorial calendar, coordinate inputs and approvals, and keep content on schedule.
• Support communications across donor journeys, including awareness, engagement and fundraising.
• Coordinate approved images, video, testimonials and case studies within the digital asset library.
• Publish and update content through website, email and social platforms with brand and accessibility standards.
• Support partnership materials, including toolkits, presentations and event collateral.
• Track content and engagement indicators; prepare routine reports and improvements.
• Work with program teams to verify facts, permissions, names, locations and impact claims.
