Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial function across our international business, primarily supporting New Zealand and USA operations. This hands-on role covers accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, forecasting, multi-currency transactions and FX exposure.

The ideal candidate brings CA/CPA, strong accounting knowledge, and the ability to provide commercial insights and partner with directors and operations while maintaining

Qualifications

• Requires strong accounting knowledge with CA/CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting, including intercompany transactions.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end accounting functions (GL, AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end).
• Excellent analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end finance across international entities (NZ and USA).
• Manage accounting activities: GL, AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end close.
• Prepare management accounts, financial reports and performance analysis.
• Handle multi-currency transactions and FX exposure; intercompany accounting.
• Develop forecasts, budgets and cash flow projections.
• Monitor working capital, margins and financial risks; provide insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Directors and operations for informed decisions.
• Coordinate with external accountants for reporting and compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
