Acquire Intelligence in Manila seeks a General Accountant to manage financial statement preparation, balance sheet control, and P&L reporting. You will perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end close, providing clear financial insights to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience preparing Balance Sheet, P&L, and Income Statement reports.
• Experience with month-end and year-end financial close.
• Strong account reconciliation and variance analysis skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify financial discrepancies.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyse financial information and clearly explain financial movements to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain Balance Sheet, P&L, and Income Statement reports and review for accuracy.
• Perform detailed analysis of financial statement accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare supporting schedules and working papers for financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts including AR/AP, cash, prepayments, depreciation, and intercompany balances.
• Manage month-end and year-end close, including journals and accruals.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions.
