Job summary

Acquire Intelligence is seeking a General Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and deliver timely reports for decision making. The role emphasizes financial statement prep, balance sheet management, P&L analysis, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.

You will ensure proper recognition of revenue and expenses, perform month-end closes, and provide variance analysis to management, with strong accounting knowledge and Excel proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience preparing Balance Sheet, P&L, and Income Statement reports.
• Experience with month-end and year-end financial close.
• Strong account reconciliation and variance analysis skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to explain financial movements to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain Balance Sheet, P&L, and Income Statement reports.
• Review financial statements for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare supporting schedules and working papers for reporting.
• Ensure reports comply with accounting standards and policies.
• Month-end and year-end closing activities and journal entries.
• Provide insights and explanations to management.
