Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned General Accountant to manage the accounting function, ensure ledger integrity, and support financial statement preparation. You will develop policies and coordinate closing processes, providing timely information to enable preventive actions.

The role requires at least 4 years in GL, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing, with experience in a large multinational environment and exposure to Oracle, SAP, or MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in handling GL, bank reconciliation, month-end closing.
• Experience working in a large, fast-paced multinational organization preferred.
• Exposure to Oracle / SAP / MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general accounting function of the accounting team.
• Ensure accuracy and maintenance of ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and operations of accounting systems.
• Prepare financial reports and operating reports.
• Provide technical expertise to managers to help budgets and financial understanding.
• Plan and coordinate preparation of financial information and closing deadlines.
• Generate accounting information to enable preventive actions by administrators.
