Job summary

Sourcefit in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Associate to manage recurring franchise billing for a portfolio of properties. You will prepare invoices, maintain spreadsheet-based inputs, and resolve inquiries on time.

This remote role follows a Monday-to-Friday schedule aligned to US Eastern Time, with support from the accounting team for month-end tasks and audits. Prior billing or AR experience and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of billing experience, accounts receivable, invoicing, or transactional accounting.
• Experience checking billing inputs, account balances, invoice accuracy, and basic accounting support records.
• Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to maintain structured workbooks and large sets of recurring invoice data.
• Professional communication skills and ability to manage recurring deadlines with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recurring franchise and billing workbooks for assigned domestic and international property portfolios based on agreed inputs and billing procedures.
• Review billing records, allocations, coding references, and account details for completeness and accuracy.
• Respond to franchise billing inquiries and work with senior accounting and AR colleagues to research discrepancies.
• Maintain and update Excel billing workbooks, control lists, supporting schedules and standard operating instructions.
• Track required billing source data, adjustments and special cases and elevate issues requiring accounting judgment.
• Support simple month-end reconciliation and journal support when assigned by the accounting lead.
• Calculate prorations for terminations and change of ownerships. Calculate and verify accuracy of requested credits.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workbook structures and reduce repeated manual billing corrections.
• Maintain organized billing records, supporting documentation, and correspondence for audit and internal follow-up.
• Attend monthly onboard meetings with stakeholders within the organization to review the current month’s billing changes and requirements.
• Maintain communication and collaboration with team members and applicable stakeholders, including legal for contract language and interpretation.
