Job summary

Samsara is hiring an Installation Specialist to lead customer deployments of hardware and software at scale. You will work with installation partners, manage on-site deployments, and de-risk projects to ensure quality installations and long-term value.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in project management, installation oversight, or field services, with strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel up to 50-70% including weekends.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; advanced degree preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
4+ years' experience managing vehicle and/or hardware technology.
Prior vehicle installation or up-fitter experience preferred.
Understanding of vehicle diagnostics (CAN bus, PTO) for on-road/off-road use.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Monitor installation milestone progress with a focus on timely issue resolution.
Serve as a point of contact for escalations during install phases.
Monitor CSAT related to installations and address root causes.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and quality.
Provide onsite oversight for large or complex deployments and site readiness checks.
Capture lessons learned to improve installation processes.
