The role requires paralegal studies approval or higher, plus experience handling US family law cases. Strong organization, confidentiality, and communication skills are essential, with access to MS Office and legal management software.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• Experience as a legal assistant in US family law (required).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal management software.
• A compassionate and professional demeanor with a high respect for confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize legal documents such as divorce agreements, custody arrangements, and other family law matters.
• Assist in discovery document collection, organization, and analysis.
• Schedule client meetings, court dates, and manage attorney calendars.
• Assist in client communication by providing case updates and gathering necessary documentation.
• Conduct legal research and compile information as directed by paralegals and attorneys.
• Maintain confidential client files and handle all correspondence with discretion.
• Assist attorneys in court and mediation preparation.
