Job summary

Capitole is seeking an EV Charging Infrastructure Engineer to join an international project focused on fleet electrification. This 100% remote role is based in Spain, supporting initial work in the UK and Ireland.

You will assess charging options, develop strategies for home/workplace/depot/public charging, and evaluate providers and installations across regions. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in EV charging infrastructure, fleet electrification or electric mobility.
• Proven experience developing charging strategies for commercial or service vehicle fleets.
• Knowledge of home, workplace, depot and public charging solutions.
• Understanding of AC/DC charging, smart charging and power management.
• Strong project management, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Assess charging infrastructure options for an electric service vehicle fleet.
• Develop charging strategies covering home, workplace, depot and public charging.
• Analyse charging technologies, power requirements and operational considerations.
• Conduct regional feasibility assessments across the UK and Ireland.
• Evaluate charging providers, hardware suppliers and installation partners.
• Support supplier selection and contribute to contract negotiations.
• Assist with charging infrastructure installation planning and implementation.
• Identify technical, operational and commercial risks.
• Prepare recommendations, reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Support the pilot phase and contribute to future expansion into additional countries.
