Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an Estimator in the Philippines to own tender pricing and quantity takeoffs for a New Zealand architectural metalwork and fabrication business. You will translate drawings into pricing, work with the Sales Manager, and use AI tools to enhance efficiency.

The role emphasizes learning new estimating software, reviewing large tender documents, and delivering submission-ready quotes with detailed attention to scope and costs.

Qualifications

• Engineering, metalwork, fabrication background or exposure to architectural metalwork or construction.
• Working knowledge of estimating and quantity surveying principles.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural or structural drawings with minimal direction.
• Strong attention to detail and handling confidential commercial information.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Openness to learning new estimating software and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review tender packages and drawings to identify scope and pricing requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates and assemble complete tender submissions with pricing data.
• Maintain and apply company pricing data, including proprietary rates and costs spreadsheet.
• Use AI tools as part of drawing review and estimating workflow.
• Provide light support to CAD drawing team and collaborate within the pricing team.
