Job summary

Qualfon Philippines is seeking a Technician, Computer, End User to support remote staff by maintaining and installing PC systems and providing level 1 remote IT help.

You will troubleshoot PC hardware and software, assist with connectivity issues, configure Microsoft technologies, and maintain IT asset inventory.

This role requires excellent communication, ability to work with teams across Desktop, Telecom, and Networking, and readiness to lift equipment up to 25 lbs and cover on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PC technician experience.
• Experience providing remote support.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, OneDrive and Teams.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, networking.
• CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA A+ certifications.
• Ability to lift equipment up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and configures PC hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Provides support to all remote workers.
• Troubleshoots remote connectivity issues.
• Assists with voice quality issues for remote staff.
• Installs and configures Microsoft technologies per Qualfon best practices.
• Troubleshoots Windows 10 for common software- and hardware-related problems.
• Assists users and telecom team with Qualfon telecommunication applications and hardware.
• Communicates with end users, client support personnel, peers, and supervisors on all PC and client apps requiring resolution.
• Participates in inventory control and reporting of all IT hardware and software.
• Maintains inventory in the IT asset inventory system.
• Responsible for packing and shipping IT equipment securely for remote employees.
• Adheres to company guidelines and procedures.
• Addresses user incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Participates in the Desktop on-call schedule.
