Astra Air & Repair and Shannon Property Management are seeking a dependable Emergency Maintenance Dispatcher to support our growing maintenance operations. This role is the primary point of contact for after-hours emergency calls, ensuring urgent requests are assessed, prioritized, documented, and communicated to on-call personnel.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years in dispatching, call center, or maintenance coordination.
• Experience in property management, HVAC, maintenance, or home services preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong problem-solving and sound judgment under pressure.
• Independent, organized, and detail-oriented with good documentation.
• Comfort navigating multiple software platforms and tech/tools.
• Knowledge of Property Meld, HouseCall Pro, AppFolio is a plus.
• Willing to work overnight hours and possible weekend shifts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assess, and prioritize after-hours maintenance calls and take action.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance and HVAC requests with on-call technicians and vendors.
• Serve as central contact for residents, customers, technicians, and leadership.
• Accurately create, update, and monitor maintenance requests, work orders, and notes.
• Track outstanding requests, provide status updates, and hand off to daytime teams.
• Collaborate across departments and support process improvements.
