Job summary

DCX is seeking a skilled embroidery digitizer to convert designs into machine-ready files for a US-focused promotional products client base. You will select stitches, adjust densities, and tailor outputs for various fabrics and garments.

The role requires a strong portfolio, proficiency with Wilcom, Hatch, Embird or Tajima DG, and an eye for detail. Overnight shifts in Philippine time or US hours may apply in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Proven embroidery digitizing experience with a portfolio.
• Proficiency with digitizing software (e.g., Wilcom, Hatch, Embird, Tajima DG).
• Strong understanding of fabric types and their effect on stitching.
• Excellent attention to detail and color/shape accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of embroidery machine operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert vector/raster artwork into embroidery machine files (e.g., .DST, .PES, .EXP) using digitizing software.
• Select appropriate stitch types (satin, fill, running) based on design and fabric.
• Adjust stitch density, underlay, and pull compensation for different fabric types.
• Resize and adapt existing designs for different garments or hoop sizes.
• Maintain an organized library of digitized files.
• Communicate with designers to clarify design intent and revision.
