Job summary

DCX Client Services is hiring a Home-Based Embroidery Digitizer to transform artwork into embroidery-ready files and ensure high-quality stitching across multiple garment types. You will collaborate with design and production teams to maintain quality and efficiency, while meeting project deadlines.

Ideal candidates have a strong portfolio, experience digitizing embroidery, and proficiency with Wilcom, Hatch, Embird, or Tajima DG. This is a remote, home-based role with USA CST hours.

Qualifications

• Proven embroidery digitizing experience; portfolio required.
• Proficiency with digitizing software (Wilcom, Hatch, Embird, Tajima DG).
• Strong knowledge of fabric types and stitching effects.
• Excellent attention to detail and color/shape accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Basic embroidery machine operation knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Convert vector/raster artwork into embroidery machine files (.DST, .PES, .EXP).
• Choose appropriate stitch types based on design and fabric.
• Adjust density, underlay, and pull compensation for fabrics.
• Resize/adapt designs for different garments or hoop sizes.
• Maintain an organized digitized-file library.
• Communicate with designers to confirm design intent and revisions.
