Job summary

IMPULSUM Outsourcing is seeking an Electrical BIM Modeller / Revit MEP Specialist for a part-time, independent contractor role. You will translate 2D electrical designs into accurate 3D BIM models using Revit MEP, working closely with an Australian Project Manager from a remote setup.

The role requires hands-on modelling, coordination with the Australian team, and delivering updates on schedule. Experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks is preferred; strong English communication is essential, with

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Electrical BIM Modelling using Revit MEP
• Strong understanding of electrical building services and construction documentation
• Experience with electrical containment, penetrations and coordination drawings
• Ability to interpret AutoCAD/DWG files and detailed electrical drawings
• Previous experience supporting Australian construction projects, preferably commercial or multi-storey residential developments
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and collaborate remotely

Responsibilities

• Create and update 3D electrical services models in Autodesk Revit MEP
• Interpret 2D AutoCAD/DWG drawings, electrical plans and markups
• Model electrical containment systems, including cable trays and conduits
• Assist with electrical penetration drawings and coordination requirements
• Incorporate design changes and markups from the Australian project team
• Attend Microsoft Teams meetings as required
• Deliver accurate model updates within project deadlines
• Coordinate with Australian Project Manager and project team
