Job summary

PeoplePartners is seeking an AV Technical Designer (Night Shift) to work remotely with international clients. The role combines CAD drafting with AV system design, requiring AutoCAD and Revit proficiency and strong coordination across trades.

Qualifications

2+ years AV technical design or related drafting experience.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Revit experience with BIM coordination.
Familiarity with AV platforms like Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure.
Experience with Bluebeam Revu, D-Tools, XTEN-AV, Visio, BIM 360.

Responsibilities

Develop AV construction drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Translate engineering requirements into coordinated drawings.
Assist with AV equipment placement, rack configurations, cable routing, and display layouts.
Review drawings to identify AV coordination conflicts with other trades.
Coordinate AV infrastructure with engineers, architects, and contractors.
Revise drawings based on field feedback and redlines.
Prepare submittal packages and as-built documentation.
Maintain CAD blocks, symbols, and drawing templates across projects.
