Job summary

Fyfe Pty Ltd, a leading Australian engineering firm, seeks an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Control BIM Modeller for a fully remote role based in the Philippines. You will produce enhanced BIM deliverables and coordinate electrical elements across multidisciplinary teams on major Australian infrastructure projects.

The position requires strong Revit/AutoCAD/MicroStation skills, 8+ years in electrical BIM, and a degree or diploma in a drafting/engineering discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' experience in electrical BIM modelling and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models in Revit from concept through detailed design and IFC stages.
• Prepare accurate 3D models, drawings and detailing based on engineers' design requirements and project inputs.
• Model and coordinate electrical elements within the federated BIM environment.
• Develop models to the required LOD 300-500 and maintain model accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce coordinated plans, sections, elevations and construction drawings directly from the BIM model.
• Undertake model QA/QC, maintenance and model reviews to ensure compliance with project BIM standards and requirements.
• Work closely with engineers and the BIM team to resolve modelling issues and support the delivery of coordinated design packages
• Support quantity take-offs and model information extraction where required.
• Maintain project BIM standards, file structures and modelling consistency to support efficient transfer of design information into construction.
