Job summary

Fyfe is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join its Energy & Resources team in a remote Philippines-based role supporting Australian project teams. You will contribute to electrical and instrumentation designs for oil and gas, mining and industrial infrastructure, delivering drawings and design deliverables.

Working with Australian colleagues, you’ll prepare calculations, data sheets, SLDs, P&IDs, loop diagrams and hazardous area documentation, while developing your technical

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of E&I engineering experience in mining, oil & gas or industrial projects.
• Experience delivering electrical and instrumentation design deliverables.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with distributed project teams.
• Proactive, self-managed approach with focus on quality and client service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare calculations, specifications, data sheets and design documentation.
• Develop and review deliverables such as SLDs, P&IDs, loop diagrams and cable schedules.
• Prepare hazardous area documentation and related compliance artifacts.

About the Role

We're looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join Fyfe's growing Energy & Resources team and provide remote engineering support to project teams across Australia.

Based in the Philippines, you'll work closely with Australian engineers and project managers, contributing to the delivery of electrical and instrumentation designs for oil and gas, mining and industrial infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on major Australian projects while being part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

You'll be involved in a broad range of engineering activities including preparing calculations, specifications, data sheets and design documentation, as well as developing and reviewing deliverables such as single-line diagrams, P&IDs, loop diagrams, cable schedules and hazardous area documentation.

Working alongside process, mechanical and civil engineers, you'll contribute to integrated design solutions and support projects through various stages of delivery. You'll also have opportunities to develop your technical expertise, build relationships with Australian colleagues and clients, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of Fyfe's engineering processes.

About You

We're looking for an engineer who enjoys working collaboratively in a remote environment and is comfortable communicating with project teams across different locations.

You'll ideally bring:
