• Experience in medical billing via electronic medical record (EMR) systems - working knowledge of Easy Claims and Claims MD would be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests from SNFs for medical equipment and supplies.
• Review medical records to verify payer qualifications and eligibility.
• Create and send invoices to facilities and insurers and process orders.
• Ensure accurate coding of equipment and accessories.
• Submit claims with necessary authorization paperwork and follow up on status.
