Job summary

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Design Release Engineer for the Fuels Systems domain, including Fuel/Urea tanks and delivery modules. You will lead design, development, APQP, and production release, coordinating with suppliers and program teams.

Requirements include a B.S. in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical, 2–4 years automotive design experience in fuel systems, proficiency in English, and knowledge of NX/Teamcenter/PLM, DFMEA and DVP&R; willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Proficiency in English (write, listen, and speak) is required.
• BSME degree from ABET accredited university/or equivalent is preferred.
• 2-4 years of design/development automotive engineering experience in Fuel Systems and/or UREA.
• Will consider an internship with Fuel Systems (UREA) as part of that experience.
• Self-starter with leadership, communication & organizational skills and problem solving ability.
• Injection molded/Blow molded Fuel/Urea tank design.
• Knowledge of fuel tank virtual simulations is highly recommended.
• Fuel Delivery Module design is recommended.
• Experience with DFMEA and DVP&R.

Responsibilities

• Communicate technical product status to management.
• Support weight reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
