We are seeking a proactive and driven Design and Release Engineer (DRE) - Fuel Systems to lead the design, development, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and production release of critical fuel and urea system components.
In this role, you will drive quality improvements, weight reduction, and cost optimization initiatives while collaborating closely with vehicle program teams, prototype labs, CAE engineers, manufacturing plants, and external suppliers.
Fuel tanks
Fuel delivery modules and Urea delivery modules
Gas and diesel filters
Design & Production Release: Manage the end-to-end design, development, APQP, and production release cycle for fuel and urea system components.
Continuous Improvement: Initiate and execute quality enhancements, value optimization, weight reduction, and efficiency improvement projects.
Quality & Validation Management: Develop, maintain, and execute DFMEA (Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) and DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with vehicle program teams, testing & prototype labs, CAE engineers, supplier operations, and manufacturing plants.
Supplier Interface: Coordinate technical specifications and design requirements directly with automotive suppliers.
Technical Reporting: Communicate technical product status, risk assessments, and project updates clearly to management.
