Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end design, development, APQP, and production release for fuel and urea components.
• Initiate and execute quality improvements, value optimization, weight reduction, and efficiency projects.
• Develop and maintain DFMEA and DVP&R to ensure design verification and validation.
• Collaborate with vehicle programs, labs, CAE engineers, suppliers, and plants.
• Coordinate supplier interface and ensure alignment of technical specifications.
• Report project status and risk assessments to management.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and driven Design and Release Engineer (DRE) - Fuel Systems to lead the design, development, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and production release of critical fuel and urea system components.

In this role, you will drive quality improvements, weight reduction, and cost optimization initiatives while collaborating closely with vehicle program teams, prototype labs, CAE engineers, manufacturing plants, and external suppliers.

• Gas and diesel filters

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Production Release: Manage the end-to-end design, development, APQP, and production release cycle for fuel and urea system components.

• Continuous Improvement: Initiate and execute quality enhancements, value optimization, weight reduction, and efficiency improvement projects.

• Quality & Validation Management: Develop, maintain, and execute DFMEA (Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) and DVP&R (Design Verification Plan & Report).

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with vehicle program teams, testing & prototype labs, CAE engineers, supplier operations, and manufacturing plants.

• Supplier Interface: Coordinate technical specifications and design requirements directly with automotive suppliers.

• Technical Reporting: Communicate technical product status, risk assessments, and project updates clearly to management.
