Job summary

Skin and Cancer Institute seeks a dedicated Call Center Agent based in the Philippines. This full-time, remote position works with our U.S.-based dermatology group, following U.S. Pacific Time.

Healthcare or medical office experience is preferred, with duties including appointment scheduling, patient inquiries, and insurance verification. The agent will ensure timely access to dermatology and oncology services, maintain HIPAA compliance, and complete ongoing training to stay current with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of call center experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and insurance verification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients via phone and other channels.
• Handle high volumes of inbound/outbound calls for appointments and inquiries.
• Verify insurance information and support patient registration.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and care coordination tasks.
• Document interactions accurately in EMR systems and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
