Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Data Engineer for a partner company in Spain to design, build, and maintain a cloud-first data platform.

You will develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS (S3/Redshift/Glue/Lambda), implement data models, APIs, and real-time flows with Kafka, while ensuring reliability and data quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
• Hands-on AWS experience (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda).
• Experience with Airflow for data workflows.
• Solid data warehousing and data modeling understanding.
• Experience building production data pipelines with reliability and quality.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• CI/CD familiarity, preferably GitLab.
• Experience developing APIs and data integrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Develop and optimize data warehouse solutions and models.
• Build data infrastructure on AWS and support legacy systems.
• Create APIs and data integrations for cross-system data exchange.
• Contribute to real-time data pipelines using Kafka.
• Automate workflows and monitor data reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Document pipelines, infrastructure, and processes.
