Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's central data platform to ensure reliability, availability, and performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that integrate data from APIs, databases, files, and streaming sources.
• Implement and monitor data quality controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data assets.
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and data integrity processes across data solutions.
• Develop and manage automated build, deployment, and release processes for data platforms.
• Enhance and support enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute to the architecture, design, and continuous improvement of the organization's data platform.
• Participate in projects involving data migration, ETL development, data modeling, reporting solutions, and process automation.
• Promote data-driven decision-making by providing trusted and accessible data solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role.
• Strong experience implementing data solutions within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure data technologies such as:
• Microsoft Fabric
• Azure SQL / SQL Server-based solutions
• Experience designing and working with dimensional data models for analytics and reporting.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience using Python or PySpark for data processing, automation, and scripting.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployment automation for data platforms.
• Strong SQL development skills, including experience with:
• Microsoft SQL Server
• SSIS
• SSDT
• Visual Studio-based database projects
• Experience implementing data quality, monitoring, and governance practices is highly desirable.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
