Job summary

Silver State Management Inc. is seeking a highly organized Credentialing Assistant to support credentialing operations in a remote, independent contractor role.

This position focuses on keeping provider applications, payer enrollments, renewals, licenses, and credentialing records well-organized and moving forward. You will maintain trackers, submit enrollments, monitor statuses, and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Extremely organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple items and deadlines.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and tracking records, with careful documentation.
• Experience or familiarity with credentialing concepts and payer enrollments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain credentialing trackers for providers, payers, licenses, renewals, and applications.
• Prepare and submit provider enrollment and credentialing applications to insurance payers.
• Track status of submitted applications and follow up with payers and credentialing organizations.
• Monitor expiration and renewal dates for licenses, certifications, malpractice insurance, and DEA registrations.
• Request updated documentation from providers and maintain accurate credentialing files.
• Assist with CAQH profiles updates, attestations, and document maintenance.
• Support Medicare/PECOS and commercial payer enrollment activities.
• Follow up on pending information, missing documents, and outstanding credentialing items.
• Document application status, reference numbers, dates, and payer communications.
• Assist with updating provider rosters and payer participation information.
• Support recredentialing and renewal processes.
