We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator with proven experience using CostX to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender submissions for construction projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with project teams to deliver competitive and accurate pricing.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs using CostX software from architectural and engineering drawings.
Develop accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, industrial, and fit-out projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify project requirements.
Prepare bills of quantities (BOQs), cost plans, and tender estimates.
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.
Assist in preparing tender submissions and pricing documentation.
Review project variations and prepare revised cost estimates as required.
Maintain and update estimating databases, cost libraries, and historical pricing records.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and procurement teams throughout the estimating process.
Ensure estimates comply with company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience in the construction industry.
Demonstrated proficiency in CostX software is required.
Experience preparing quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with commercial, residential, infrastructure, or fit-out projects.
Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, or other estimating and construction software.
Knowledge of local building codes and construction standards.
Experience working with Australian, New Zealand, UK, or North American construction projects is an advantage.
Monday - Friday (7am - 4pm MNL time)
Must Have atleast 20mbps internet connection
Must be wiling to work (Office-based)
