Job summary

Assist World is seeking an experienced Construction Billing & Bookkeeping Specialist to own AIA billing, AR, and bookkeeping tasks in a 100% remote role. The position starts at 20 hours per week with potential to move to full-time as the business grows and as demonstrated capability.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely invoicing and sound financial record keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction billing, especially AIA Forms 702/703.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Salesforce.
• Excellent written and verbal English; professional customer communication.
• Able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with accounts receivable and collections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage AIA billing (Forms 702/703).
• Handle construction progress billing and ensure invoices are accurate and timely.
• Process and track change orders.
• Manage accounts receivable and monitor outstanding balances.
• Follow up with customers on invoices and payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.
• Update customer and project data in Salesforce.
• Reconcile billing information and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve billing queries.
• Assist in maintaining efficient billing and accounting processes.
• Provide general billing/bookkeeping admin support.
