Hyre is hiring an Accounts Receivable & Accounting Assistant to join our remote accounting team. The role focuses on AR, billing, expense tracking, data entry, and supporting a small but dynamic department.

The ideal candidate is a versatile generalist with AR/billing specialization, capable of handling AP and expense tracking as needed. A proactive, autonomous work style and a home office setup with reliable internet are required.

Qualifications

• Experience specializing in Accounts Receivable and billing is required.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and expense tracking is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com) and Emburse Professional is preferred.
• Able to work independently with high accuracy and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounts receivable processes and ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Track and bill storage account clients and ensure timely invoicing.
• Assist with expense tracking using Emburse Professional.
• Provide light data entry for invoices and AP tasks.
• Support accounting team with general data entry and administrative duties.
