Job summary

Emapta Philippines is seeking a skilled CAM Programmer (CNC Programmer) to create CNC milling and lathe programs for an international manufacturing team. You will optimize toolpaths, support first-piece prove-outs, and collaborate remotely with the Foreman and machinists from a permanent work-from-home setup.

3+ years CNC programming and Mastercam expertise are required, plus reading drawings, GD&T, and tool/BOM handling in Odoo.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of CNC mill/lathe programming in a manufacturing environment.
• Mastercam proficiency including toolpath creation and post-processing.
• Experience in CNC lathe programming with live tooling; C- and Y-axis capabilities.
• CNC mill programming for 3-axis, 3+2-axis, and multi-axis machining.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, GD&T, and tolerances.
• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, speeds/feeds, workholding, and materials.
• Proficiency in CNC G-code and shop mathematics.
• Ability to collaborate remotely with Foreman and machinists during first-piece prove-outs.

Responsibilities

• Develop Mastercam programs for CNC lathes with live tooling and C/Y-axis capabilities, or for CNC mills with 3-axis to multi-axis capability.
• Post-process CNC programs and maintain tool/setup sheets; update BOMs in ERP (Odoo).
• Support first-piece prove-out by implementing revisions requested by Foreman.
• Maintain CNC program library and ensure alignment with latest drawings; archive finished programs in ERP.
• Attend daily meetings and train backups in CAM software to ensure continuity.
