Job summary

Outsourced.ph seeks a CAM Programmer to turn customer drawings and STEP files into proven CNC programs. The role supports quoting by delivering tool lists, times, and programs ready for first-piece prove-out.

Responsibility spans MasterCam on lathes and mills, library management in ERP, and collaboration with the Foreman and shop floor to ensure safe, correct first runs. This is a remote, home-based role in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years programming CNC mills and/or lathes in a job shop or similar environment.
• Strong working knowledge of MasterCam including toolpaths, post-processing and 3D model work from STEP files.
• Programming CNC lathes with live tooling, C and Y axis; programming mills: 3-axis, 3+2 and multi-axis.

Responsibilities

• Review opportunities for programming: quantity, material, sales notes, drawings and STEP files.
• Choose the best machine for the job to minimize operations.
• Create MasterCam programs for lathe (live tooling, C and Y) or mill (3-axis, 3+2, multi-axis) and determine jig needs.
• Update BOM and tool sheets in ERP to support quoting.
