Job summary

Harris Computer seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for our fully distributed team. The role supports our Manila or Cebu-based R&D operations and collaborates with Sales, Professional Services and Support, operating across the Pacific timezone.

Responsibilities include managing hosted client and internal systems, OS & database support, automation test development, QA infra maintenance, and remote installation of hardware and software during implementations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant production environment work experience.
• Must have experience supporting the Linux OS (RHEL/CentOS) and network administration including firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience with cloud-based virtual systems, networking and storage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the SmartWorks hosted client application systems and internal R&D development systems, databases, networking and storage.
• Provide OS and database support for customers and support teams.
• Develop and maintain automated unit test suites.
• Design testing plans and strategies for different types of testing.
• Collaborate with sales to provide technical details for proposals.
• Remotely install and configure hardware, OS, and database platforms during implementation projects.
