TASQ is seeking a lead cloud engineer specializing in infrastructure to work remotely from 5pm to 2am Philippine Time. Due to logistical considerations, only applicants based in the Philippines will be considered for the role.

Position Overview

The Lead Cloud Engineer will mainly oversee technical delivery on client projects, facilitate architectural design discussions with clients, provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members involved in implementation, manage client expectations, and foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. This role offers a career pathway for senior cloud engineers and cloud engineers aspiring to lead end‑to‑end client engagements.

Team Development Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members learning the company's infrastructure engagement methodologies.
• Act as a coach within a player‑coach model to support skill development and confidence building in infrastructure delivery.
• Build and strengthen relationships within the cloud infrastructure teams (delivery, delivery excellence, solution architecture) and externally.

Delivery Support Functions

• Oversee technical delivery with strong consultative skills across multiple client projects.
• Collaborate with Delivery Excellence to ensure project milestones align with plans, including capturing key client decisions.
• Possess comprehensive technical expertise in Azure technologies such as Log Analytics (KQL), Application Insights, Azure Site Recovery, Backup, Security, Networking (App Gateways, Front Door, Firewall, VWAN), Storage, Automation (IaC), Sentinel, App Services, Containers (AKS), Managed Instances, Azure SQL, DNS, Virtual Desktop + Nerdio, and Files.
• Have a solid understanding of cloud infrastructure solutions and their implementation using infrastructure as code tools like Bicep or Terraform.
• Support the team in overcoming project blockers, facilitate change orders and extensions when needed, and ensure technical alignment across practice areas.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the company's offerings.
• Hold an AZ‑305 Cloud Architect certification.

Business Development Leadership

• Gain exposure to other practice areas to identify opportunities within existing infrastructure projects.
• Identify and propose new cloud infrastructure and security solutions.
• Lead and support the infrastructure offerings committees to define and promote standard practices.
