Job summary

FinOps Weekly is seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst to monitor cloud spend, analyze cost drivers, and present insights to stakeholders. You will build and maintain COS/cost reporting, dashboards in Excel and Power BI, and ensure data accuracy for decision-making.

You will collaborate with finance, engineering, and ops, onboard quickly, and contribute to continuous improvement of cloud cost management practices, with a focus on governance-ready outputs and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud cost analytics and FinOps practices.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to create dashboards.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Power Automate for reporting.
• Optional FinOps or cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud spend and billing reports on a recurring basis.
• Identify anomalies, cost drivers, and optimization opportunities.
• Provide summaries/insights to stakeholders for decision making.
• Develop and maintain recurring COS/chargeback reporting.
• Build dashboards in Excel and Power BI with automated refreshes.
• Prepare governance-ready materials and maintain process documentation.
• Onboard quickly and collaborate with finance, engineering, and ops.
