Job summary

Socium is seeking a Cloud FinOps Engineer to support a banking-grade cloud environment in the Philippines. This hybrid role combines cloud operations, cost governance, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize cloud spend while maintaining security and compliance.

You’ll monitor FinOps across AWS and Azure, generate cost insights, and partner with engineering, finance, and product teams to drive smarter cloud spending decisions. Direct employment and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in cloud operations, cloud support, or FinOps-related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
• Experience in cloud cost optimization, cost reporting, billing analysis, or cloud financial management.
• Knowledge of automation / scripting for cloud monitoring or reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage FinOps practices across AWS and Azure.
• Ensure cloud costs are visible across teams and help stakeholders understand usage and spending patterns.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste through rightsizing, resource cleanup, and cost optimization strategies.
• Analyze cloud billing, cost reports, and consumption trends to uncover inefficiencies.
• Provide cost reports, forecasts, and cloud spend insights to support decision-making.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and finance teams to align cloud usage with business objectives.
