Job summary

RealPage, Inc. is seeking a FinOps Engineer II to optimize cloud costs for AI and non-AI workloads while ensuring performance and efficiency. You will automate cost reporting and partner with finance, operations, and CloudOps to drive cost visibility and savings.

The role requires strong scripting, IaC experience, and collaboration across teams to implement cost-management strategies and governance.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in computer science and engineering preferred.
2+ years’ automation and development with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) across clouds.
2+ years programming with Python, Ruby, Go, Git, Github or Azure DevOps.
2+ years in estimation, project management, and FinOps for cloud environments.
2+ years in cloud operations, financial management, or related roles.
Experience with cloud cost optimization frameworks such as FinOps.
FinOps Certified Practitioner / CAPM / PM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Automate the creation of reports and dashboards to visualize cloud cost trends for AI production and non-production usage.
Develop and maintain cost allocation models.
Stay up-to-date on cloud pricing models and best practices.
Analyze cloud usage patterns for cost optimization.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (GCP and AWS), some Azure exposure.
Build tooling to share cloud spending data across the organization.
