Job summary

Itsasap is seeking a Clinical Informatics Specialist to partner with hospital leadership and clinical teams to analyze, design, and optimize EHR workflows that improve operational performance and patient care delivery. This remote Philippines role focuses on laboratory and radiology workflows, serving as a bridge between clinical operations and technology.

You will support training, change management, and system configuration while maintaining knowledge bases and collaborating with EHR analysts

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
2+ years in healthcare IT, clinical informatics, hospital operations, or related role.
Clinical knowledge to credibly engage with physicians and leaders.
Experience configuring and optimizing EHR clinical workflows (Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, or similar).
Proven track record of working with stakeholders to solve operational problems.
Strong understanding of hospital operations and clinical workflows.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Attention to detail in documenting workflows and requirements.
Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders and recommend tech-enabled clinical solutions.
Analyze current-state clinical workflows across hospital settings.
Evaluate workflow configurations across major EHR platforms with teams.
Collaborate with LIS/RIS/PACS teams for integration with EHRs.
Liaise between clinical stakeholders, IT, MSP teams, and vendors.
Develop training materials and drive user adoption of new systems.
Stay updated on healthcare IT trends and regulatory changes.
Support configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of clinical applications.
Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders.
Document current and future-state workflows clearly for technical teams.
