Job summary

Optum is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to develop and maintain evidence-based decision-support content within EMR systems. You will translate guidelines from organizations like ACR/NCCN into actionable workflows and ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Medical Directors, and Customer Success teams to optimize clinical content, data quality, and healthcare outcomes. A strong background in radiologic imaging workflows and CDS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or allied health with imaging exposure.
• 2-5 years in healthcare informatics, EMR, or CDS.
• Experience using Excel, SQL and Power BI for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Translate guidelines into decision-support content and workflows.
• Develop and maintain clinical indications, testing pathways & appropriateness guidance.
• Design and maintain CDS rules and EMR workflows using various data sources.
• Validate content against guidelines; create test scenarios and validation plans.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Medical Directors, and Customer Success teams.
