Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in an Australian accounting firm or Australian-facing accounting support role.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Confidence using the ATO portal and understanding BAS, IAS, lodgement cycles.
• Strong Xero skills.
• Organised and autonomous across time zones, asks questions early.

Responsibilities

• ATO & Compliance: prep year-end data, pull reports from ATO portal, lodge ASIC/company actions.
• Client Communication: draft client emails, handle ATO notices, follow up for information.
• Job Completion & Document Flow: build e-signature packs, chase signatures, file documents in Box.
• Team Support: assist offshore accountants and onshore team; maintain Notion docs.
