Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Client Services Engineer (NOC L1) to be the first point of contact for technical support across desktop, server, and network issues. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve 1st-level problems for SMB environments while coordinating with North America teams.

The role requires strong English, MSP experience, and familiarity with backup tools, virtualization, cloud platforms, and patching. Work-from-home with shifting schedules in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of end-user IT support experience in a US-based MSP environment.
• Strong hands-on with two or more backup solutions: Acronis, Datto, StorageCraft or Veeam.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server & Microsoft 365 apps.
• Networking concepts incl. routing/firewalls; troubleshoot related issues.
• High English communication proficiency, written and verbal.
• Understand virtualization, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), and patching.
• Experience with MSP tools like ConnectWise Manage and N-able.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact for technical support via phone, email, chat, and remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot desktop, server, network, email delivery, and firewall issues for SMBs.
• Handle tickets from the North American team and monitor system alerts.
• Remediate NOC alerts, backups, and patching across client systems.
• Support Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) tests for data protection.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and ensure service reliability.
