Job summary

Staff X is seeking a remote design engineer to autonomously complete residential stormwater drainage projects from a live job register. You will produce drainage plans and hydraulic calculations to a high standard, meeting tight timeframes and requiring minimal rework.

You will use AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Excel, communicating via Microsoft Teams with a distributed team across time zones. This is a long-term, full-time role with Staff X’s global client exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering residential stormwater designs for Australian councils.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel for stormwater calculations.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete stormwater design jobs from the live register.
• Produce drainage plans and hydraulic calculations per standards.
• Communicate progress and blockers via Teams.
• Submit designs for review and finalise drawings for client submission.
• Apply SA council requirements and Australian Standards.
