The Unified Accounting & Tax, LLP is seeking a Remote Cash Matching Accountant to support our finance team from home in the Philippines. You will focus on cash allocation, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records to enable timely financial operations.

Responsibilities include daily cash matching against invoices, bank receipts, and AR balances; investigating discrepancies; ensuring proper posting; and generating management reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4 years of experience in cash application, AR, bank reconciliation, or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily cash matching and allocation against invoices.
• Reconcile bank receipts and AR balances.
• Investigate unidentified and misallocated cash.
• Follow up with internal teams, customers, and banks to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure timely posting of cash transactions.
• Review remittance advice and references for correct allocations.
• Monitor unapplied cash and resolve items promptly.
• Assist with daily/weekly/month-end bank reconciliations.
• Maintain audit trails for cash matching activities.
• Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements.
• Prepare cash matching and reconciliation reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
